ABRAMOFF: MEMBERS OF CONGRESS TRADING ON INSIDE INFORMATION

Former Capitol Hill lobbiest Jack Abramoff says that dozens of members of Congress and their aides are and have been engaged in insider trading making hundreds of thousands of dollars. The activity includes day trading by Congressional staffers who took advantage of reports created in Congress. Abramoff, who was one of the wealthiest and powerful lobbyists in Washington was involved in a corruption scandal that sent him to federal prison for more than three years. He said recently that many members of Congress bragged about their stock trading prowess.
