Off topic: new invention measures levels of oral bacteria and disease

Charles Michael Yim who created a smartphone breathalyzer product is now launching a second product. Instead of analyzing a person’s blood alcohol level, it will measure your mouth’s bacteria and hydration levels to prevent tooth decay. In addition, although not touted for this, recent studies show correlations between the byproducts of poor oral health and sulfuric compounds and various cancers including pancreatic cancer and liver cancer. It is hoped that a broad usage will help in early detection.
