Yoga master Bikram Choudhury ordered to pay $6.4 million in sexual harassment case

A jury has ordered Bikram Choudhury, founder of Bikram Yoga to pay $6.4 million in punitive damages to a lawyer who said that Choudhury sexually harassed her when she worked for him and that she was fired when she started investigating claims he had raped a yoga student. Six other women have sued him in the past few years alleged that he sexually assaulted or harassed them.

During the trial, he denied the claims.
