Deutsche Bank whistleblower says bank concealed billions in losses

Dr. Eric Ben Artzi worked recently as the Deutsche Bank as Vice President Legal Risk & Capital Division and he was responsible for disclosure of inadequate applications of quantitative models for gap option evaluations . Now, he is a whistleblower claiming that billions in liabilities that should have appeared on the bank’s balance sheet did not. Œ

He was not the first to notify the Securities Exchange Commission was not booking losses properly. The bank vehemently denies the assertions saying that Ben Artzi’s concerns were fully investigated and proven to be unfounded. Œ

If true however, the implications are significant. If the losses are in fact in the millions, the bank could require a government bail out.Jeffrey Newman represents whistleblowers.
