Freight Forwarding Company Settle Bribe allegations for $236 mill

Five oil and gas service companies and subisidiaries and a global freight forwarding company have agreed to settlement penalties of $236 million for violations of the FOREIGN CORRUPT PRACTICES ACT for bribing of customs officials in more than 10 countries. The companies include Panalpina and a subsidiary of Shell.
