IMF CHIEF CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED RAPE OF MAID IN MANHATTAN HOTEL AND DNA EVIDENCE TAKEN

IMF Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn has been charged with attempting to rape a maid in a Manhattan Hotel and now it has been revealed that a French Journalist had previously alleged similar behavior. The 62-year-old who lead the International Monetary Fund is alleged to have emerged naked from the bathroom and sexually assaulted her inside the $3,000 a night suite at the Sofitel Hotel in Times Square. One report says there is videotaped evidence from the hotel showing Strauss-Kahn chasing the maid. Police say that the maid has formally identified him in a line up.The allegations of attempted rape were made by a 32-year-old woman who worked at the hotel. She allegedly told detectives that he came out of the bathroom without clothes and ran down the hallway pulling her into a bedroom where he began to sexually assault her. She pulled away from him and he tried to lock her into the hotel room. He then made his way to the airport leaving his mobil phone and other items behind and was arrested aboard an Air France plan. The woman was treated for injuries in the hospital. He is being held in a cell in Riker’s Island New York and is expected to appear in state court on Monday.
