JP MORGAN BANKER PLEADS GUILTY TO BOND BID RIGGING

Alexander Wright, former JP Morgan Chase banker pleaded guilty to conspiring with former UBS AG broker to rig bids on a bond deal involving a New Jersey hospital. Wright will testify in the criminal trial of three former UBS bankers. Wright said that one of the UBS bankers told him he had agreed to fix the bidding for the hospital transaction. Wright submitted the low bid then raised it upon suggestion of the UBS broker. The criminal bid rigging trial is scheduled for July 30 in Federal Court in Manhattan.
