Massachusetts Hospital Association Bans Hiring of Tobacco Users

The Massachusetts Hospital Association has barred use of tobacco products by employees even when they are off duty. The association represents more than 100 Massachusetts hospitals. There has been a challenge to similar practices under the Massachusetts Privacy Act which is still in litigation.
