The Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating Goldman Sachs for possible bribes of Libyan officials and Goldman is lawyering up for the liong run. Regulators are specifically looking at GOLDMAN’S dealings with the Libyan Investment Authority . The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act forbids US companies from paying bribes to officials of overseas governments.
